Sometimes we can feel like we can only share our story if we have a piece of sage advice to share, or the answer to burning questions, but that’s not the case. At CBSN, sharing our stories, no matter where we are in our journeys, is something that we see as a valuable way to heal both for ourselves and each other.
One of the key times of the year that we do this is during BFRB week, which takes place October 1-7, and we’re in the search for stories to share with you this year. Whether you’ve shared your story with us before or not, you’re welcome to submit. Here are the details.
- Deadline: September 17, 2021
- We’re looking for all kinds of BFRB stories, but would in particular love to see some about recovery. This can mean sharing your thougths about recovery, the steps you’re taking to get there, or what recovery looks like for you.
- Keep the stories between 500 and 1500 words.
- Include how you’d like the story attributed to you (can we use your full name, part of your name, or would you prefer a pen name / to remain anonymous?).
- Let us know your pronouns (he/him, she/her, they/them, etc) so that we can accurately share on our social media and website.
- Email your submission to blog@canadianbfrb.org with subject line “BFRB Week Guest Blog.”
